The 5th World Traditional Wushu Championships, held from November 5-11， 2012 in Huangshan city of Anhui Province , was hosted by International Wushu Federation (IWUF), the Chinese Wushu Association, and the People's Government of Anhui Province. More than 2,800 athletes from across 55 countriescompeted in this event. It is currently among the world's largest, and most influential sports events of martial arts, reputed as "the Olympic of Wushu circles". 55-member USA Wushu- Kungfu Federation (USAWKF) Delegate participated in this event including 26 athletes who won a total of 25 medals, three of which gold, seven silvers, and 15 bronzes. |
