Divisions by age, gendar and experience in Traditional Kung Fu, Taiji and Contemporary Wushu. Team and combat form categories as well. Competitors invited from USA, Europe and Asia.

Check-in begins at 9:00 am and competition starts promptly at 10:00 am.

Wushu Summer Camp 2010 International

Zhao Changjun International Wushu Summer Camp 2010 is a 30-day residential summer program for US students age 8 and older. Based at Zhao Changjun Wushu Academy, this summer program combines the strength of authentic Wushu training with the benefits of studying and living in one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, Xi’an. Students will be learning Wushu as well as Chinese language and Chinese art and crafts, visiting famous historic places in both Beijing and Xi’an. This camp will be a unique Wushu and Chinese culture learning opportunity for all participants.

Zhao Changjun

Zhao ChangJun, one of the most famous Wushu masters in China, was born in Xi'an in 1960. Zhao began learning Wushu at the age of 6. At ten, he was selected into the Shaanxi Provincial Wushu Team, where he got systematic training in martial arts. In 1974, he visited Japan as a member of the Chinese Wushu Team. Because of his excellent performance in Japan, the State Physical Culture Commission gave him the title of "Juvenile Wushu Diplomat".

Zhao Changjun Wushu Academy

Zhao Changjun Wushu Academy was founded in Xi'an China in 1991 by the greatest Wushu master of all time, Zhao Changjun. It is a full-time boarding school that teaches academic subjects as well as traditional and contemporary martial art.

Since its inception, over 5000 students have been trained in the institute, including hundreds of international students. The students have won over 200 medals and participated in the production of dozens of Kung Fu movies. The Institute has hosted numerous international Wushu teams. The General Administration of Sports of China awarded it the National Top Martial Art Institute.
